Job Description
As a Childcare Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children through engaging lessons and activities. This position involves working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, reporting directly to the program director. You will create a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom using various tools such as art and craft supplies and outdoor play equipment, ensuring the health and safety of all children in your care. While no travel is required, there are opportunities for career advancement within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons
- Coordinate engaging activities that promote development
- Maintain health and safety standards in the classroom
- Organize classroom materials and learning environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in childcare
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of child development
- Skills in classroom management and lesson planning
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability
