As a Security Officer Full Time Surveillance Patrol in Covington Township, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist guests with professionalism and care. In this role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points, while reporting unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe customer and visitor interactions, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other policy violations through visible presence and professional engagement.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and following post orders for alarms, emergency situations, and/or after-hours procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
