- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Current Need: Approximately 11-18 shifts per month outside of normal staffing
- Providers Needed: 4
- Scheduling Flexibility:
- No minimum shift commitment
- Facility can utilize providers for as little as 1 shift
- Open to working around provider availability
- Consecutive shifts are typically not scheduled; every-other-day scheduling may be accommodated
- Virginia Medical License: Required
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
- Certification: Current BLS
- In-house call
- OB Hospitalist coverage
- Admissions
- Assigned patient rounding
- Labor and delivery management
- Specialty: OB Hospitalist / OB-GYN
- Patient Volume: 16-20 patients per shift
- Department: 16-bed unit
- Coverage Model: Two OB/GYN physicians on call 24/7
- Anesthesia: 24/7 in-house coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Designation: Level II / Level III Trauma Center
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB-GYN
- Active Virginia medical license
- Current BLS certification
- Comfortable with admissions and inpatient rounding
- Interested in flexible, ongoing call coverage
- Able to work collaboratively within a two-physician coverage model
