Post Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Eastern Star Home and Campus. This full-time opportunity allows you to work alongside experienced clinicians while helping residents strengthen everyday skills, improve functional abilities, and achieve greater independence.
What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks
• Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT
• Monitor resident progress and communicate relevant changes to the therapy team
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic activities, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active New York COTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
