McDaniel & Associates, PC is seeking a motivated professional to serve as a full-time Senior Tax Accountant/Manager working with our team to provide accounting, tax preparation, and business consulting services.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review of federal and multi-state tax returns for diverse entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals
- Research complex tax issues, stay current with legislative changes, and manage IRS or state audits and correspondence
- Strengthen existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities to grow the firm's practice
- Provide tax planning and strategic advisory services
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff accountants
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and tax software (CCH Axcess, Engagement)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
