Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient medical/surgical experience required License: State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of application Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Recent Epic experience (within the last 6 months) - Patient ratios experience of 1:6 Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical care. The nurse will work nights on a 4x12-hour shift schedule. The unit accepts first-time travelers. The patient ratios are 1:6. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system. The nurse must be proficient in isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE). Experience with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management is required. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various services. Daily census includes adults and geriatric patients. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population.
