Sales Engineer

Opportunity to join an established general and mechanical contracting firm that specializes in mission-critical data center infrastructure, and your background caught my attention. They’re looking to add a Sales Engineer to help grow their South Florida business by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll work with owners, facility teams, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to develop solutions, prepare proposals, and help manage projects from concept through execution. Their work supports critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, fire protection, monitoring, and commissioning systems that keep data centers and other mission-critical facilities running. Key Responsibilities Prospect and build relationships with new and existing clients. Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer technical requirements, budgets, and project timelines. Develop preliminary engineering concepts, scopes of work, budgets, and proposal strategies. Prepare and present proposals for construction, maintenance, advisory, and service projects. Source equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendor pricing. Partner with operations and field teams to successfully execute awarded projects. Visit jobsites, maintain client relationships, and identify future opportunities. Manage project communication, schedules, expectations, billing support, and change orders.
