Transportation/Commercial Motor Vehicle Litigation Associate
Our client, an AmLaw 100 ranked national defense litigation firm, is seeking a Transportation Litigation Associate to join their rapidly growing Philadelphia office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a premier litigation team handling a wide range of high‑exposure general liability matters for major corporate, insurance, and Fortune 100 clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Independently manage a robust litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on complex legal projects across transportation, commercial motor vehicle, general liability, premises liability, and related areas.
- Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and case strategy development.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates, evaluations, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable client guidelines and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
- 3+ years of transportation/trucking, commercial motor vehicle, premises liability, and/or warehouse defense litigation experience.
- Superior written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and litigation skills; legal project‑management experience a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and high‑quality work product
