Our organization is in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens support, addressing an immediate requirement.

Opportunity Details & Requirements

Annual Patient Volume: 29,000
Physician Shift Schedule: 24-hour coverage; 12-hour shifts
Advanced Practice Coverage: To be determined
Backup Specialties: To be determined
Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech
Required Certifications: Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine; active Florida medical license; Drug Enforcement Administration license

Okeechobee is a city named after its adjacent lake, also called Lake Okeechobee, which is the largest freshwater lake in Florida. Nearby, there is a renowned National Scenic Trail that features a well-maintained paved path around the lake, ideal for hikers and cyclists, and spacious enough for specialized vehicles.
