Join our Team as we work with our cooperative of local farmers to create award-winning cheese!Key Details:Work an average 2-4 days per week (Store open from 8am to 6pm), Must be able to work weekends, Some holidays required.Up to 8 hour shiftsPart Time, $11.00-$14.00/hr, +$1 shift bonus per hour for working on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays!401k available for those eligible!General Description: The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for daily operations of our retail store including, but not limited to; proper merchandising of salesfloor, packaging our world famous cheese curds and "cut and wrap" cheeses, food service production of sandwiches, pizzas and deep-fried curds, conducting register sales, maintaining store cleanliness and inventory as well as, and most importantly, providing exceptional customer service. All other duties appropriate to the position or as assigned.Duties and Responsibilities include the following.Customer Service Expectations:Provide exceptional customer service with authentic kindness.Run store registers to process guest transactionsAssist Guests with finding and selecting productsFood Service Duties:Foodservice production of: ice cream, sandwiches, pizzas, meat/cheese trays, deep-fried food items, cut cheesesPackage and seal cheese products per food safety regulationsProperly document and record cleaning check lists, temp logs, and in-store production recordsMaintain a clean and sanitary workspace according to Good Manufacturing PracticesTeam & Retail Store Support Tasks:Merchandising of Store sales floor, coolers, and freezersAssist with opening and closing store proceduresAbility to obtain Wisconsin Responsible Serving of Alcohol and Food Safe Handling Certificates.Follow all current company policies and proceduresAssist in all retail areas as needed; other duties as assigned.RequirementsReliable attendance and on-time arrival are required.Ability to read and follow directions.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Experience and Other Skills:Eagerness and willingness to learn and work in the dairy industry.High school diploma or equivalent preferredBasic computer knowledge preferred.Experience in Retail or Food Service desiredPhysical Demands & Work Environment:Ability to lift 40+ lbs. occasionallyStand for up to 8 hours per shift.Pass a drug & alcohol screen as well as a general background check.Retail & Food Plant environment; must adhere to all food, retail and plant safety policies and regulations.Work with chemicals for cleaning purposes.Must be 16 years of age as required by policy.Our Ellsworth, Wisconsin facility specializes solely in the production of our world-famous All Natural White Cheddar Cheese Curds, both natural and flavored, our All Natural Cheddar Cheese Curd Crumbles and sweet whey powder.Committed to our Team, Craft & Community, Since 1910
