Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,436 per week

Position Overview Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology seeks a Travel Radiology Technologist for an 8‑week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia, starting 07/06/2026. The assignment is 12‑hour days, 36 hours per week. Responsibilities Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions as they arise. Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which the procedure takes place. Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health‑care team. Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. Required Qualifications One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Current Radiologic Technologist / Radiography license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification. Other certifications and licenses as may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Proficiency in reading written instructions, following verbal instructions, and PC skills. Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/Motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, move about during procedures and equipment use. Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with and without supervision, handle irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail.
