Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Residential Care Facility North Community Counseling Centers, Inc. is searching for qualified and dedicated residential care staff members to provide exceptional in-house care to the clients of our Next Generation Program FT M-F. The clients within the residential care homes are adults suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues. Job Type: Full-Time and part-time is available. Rate: $15 Days: 5 days a week Shifts:

1. st Shift 8a - 4p
2. nd Shift 4p - 12a
3. rd Shift 12a - 8a

WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

Responsibilities: Ensure the health and safety of our clients Administer medications Cook healthy meals, per State regulations/guidelines Confirm that food is available to coordinate with the weekend and holiday menus. Complete balanced weekly menus for 2 weeks. Clean and maintain the office area and common areas of the home. Hourly house checks: Being aware of the whereabouts of every resident on the hour. Assist residents assigned to you with completion of their ADLs and maintenance of their room. Ensure the bathrooms are clean at the end of your shift. Ensure the kitchen and dining room areas are clean at the end of your shift, all dishes are put away, tables and counter tops are cleaned off. Plan and implement activities Maintain residents schedule for your shift. Supervise client medication, charting all incoming medications, coordination with nurse and case manager regarding medication compliance. Behavior documentation Communicate with co-workers and house managers about concerns or activities completed/need completed throughout the shift Maintain required certifications and training Monitor medical needs of the individual(s) Provide behavioral intervention, as needed Serve as a role model of appropriate behavior and social skills in the home and the community Conduct additional services requested by our consumer or their service team that may improve their quality of life, health and safety Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age Experience working with mental health clients, preferred but not required Able to pass a background check and drug test CPR Required (We offer Training!)
