Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and create a welcoming environment in the lobby
• Assist with patient check-in procedures, including using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets
• Perform phlebotomy procedures with confidence and accuracy for both clinical and forensic specimens
• Help maintain the waiting area and ensure a safe and organized environment
• Assist with patient needs, answering questions and providing care with compassion
• Support staff with breaks and staffing coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and confidentiality standards
• Perform data entry and verify patient information efficiently

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, etc.)
• Phlebotomy experience required, including specimen collection and processing
• Keyboard and data entry proficiency
• Excellent customer service skills and a compassionate attitude
• Ability to handle patients with care and confidence

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at the worksite (personal vehicle preferred over rideshare options)
• Availability to work scheduled shifts and stay for the entire duration
• Punctuality and reliability are essential, with excessive tardiness or absenteeism leading to termination
• Ability to work within a 20-25 minute commute window of the work location
• Preferred candidates may be interested in developing phlebotomy skills further within the clinical lab environment
• Schedule flexibility is preferred to cover shifts and staffing needs
