JOB DETAILS:

• SHIFT: 40 Hours Can Be Offered
• Unit will accept contracts 13-20 weeks!
• 8 HOUR DAYS; 07:30 - 16:00
• Call Requirement: Minimum: 7 call days per month
• Typical Schedule: o Two call days per week for two weeks each month o One call weekend per month
• Additional Coverage: May be required to meet departmental needs; this is rotated equitably among all staff members.
• Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.
• Call team consists of three staff members, one of whom is an RN.
• Float Requirement: NONE.
• Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 90%-10% split with IR being the 90%, 10% being other procedure types.**Assist the provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures.***Medication administration performed by RN only.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella.

#Tier2 Travel Compliance Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process:All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission Details: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed.Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission.Local candidates ( 50 miles): Lower rate applies.RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved.
