FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Location Madison County Parkway, Canton, MS 39046 Schedule Full time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Compensation Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Apply proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Complete other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required. Ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lb.
