Senior Cost Manager

Responsibilities Manage workload and team activities, including QA/QC, fee proposals, and task coordination. Reconcile invoices and change orders with GC, subcontractors, and third parties. Perform value analysis and risk and value management evaluations. Develop and nurture client relationships to ensure client satisfaction. Support senior management by providing reports and responding to inquiries for information. Mentor estimating technicians and estimators, training them in divisions and construction technology. Prepare project plans and provide bid analysis and post‑contract support. Participate in peer review processes and industry events, demonstrating an understanding of the local market. Other duties as assigned; attend work during normal business hours. Qualifications & Requirements Proficient in cost estimating for construction projects and provide pricing expertise across construction phases. Strong research, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to integrate with other departments. Ability to read and interpret a variety of construction documents (Arch, Civil, Structural, MEP, Geotech, Site Logistics, Schedules). Proficient in Excel and current technology and software knowledge. Adaptability to varied work hours, including possible weekends or evenings. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a high degree of creativity and latitude. Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills with peers, leaders, and clients. Self‑accountable to individual and team goals and proactive in continuous self‑development. Preferred Education and Experience B.S. in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. 4–5years in Cost & Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation (MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE, or equivalent). Salary & Benefits Salary range: $111,400.00–$148,533.35 per year (base salary only).
