Construction Assessor

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Full‑Time Construction Assessor to perform all Construction Assessor responsibilities including planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

Involved in multiple projects concurrently Oversee the quality of Partner’s deliverables throughout the project life cycle Coordinate the efforts of Partner team members and, when required, Partner Associates (PAs) to deliver projects according to plan Build strong relationships with the Partner team, the Client and other project stakeholders to successfully deliver a quality product on time Conduct inspections Write reports

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure quality of services and reports Effectively communicate project expectations (e.g., Client‑specific SOW, templates) to team members and assessors in a timely and clear fashion throughout the project Provide solid recommendations and solutions to Partner team members (RM, TD, PM, etc.) and clients, understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process Identify and resolve issues with projects Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or by e‑mail) Communicate and coordinate follow‑up questions during the review process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Excellent communication skills (internal and external) Ability to work on projects concurrently Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time Exceptional writing skills Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team Comprehensive understanding of design processes/concepts, construction elements (contracts, cost, administration, scheduling, change orders) and funding/payment processes Proficient in report authorship and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or greater from an accredited university in architecture, construction management, or an engineering discipline (a plus) 3+ years of relevant experience in construction or a construction‑related field such as architecture, construction management, and/or engineering

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via e‑mail Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and a computer screen Must be able to visit a construction job site and maneuver around and through construction activities

COMPENSATION

The wage range for this role is estimated at $85,000‑$105,000 based on factors such as skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications and business needs.
