Overview GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel registered nurse (RN) for an emergency department (ED) assignment in Tuba City, Arizona. Job Details Specialty: Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12‑hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights & weekends; flexible) Employment Type: Travel Nurse / ER RN Location: Tuba City, AZ 86045 (Northwestern Arizona on the Colorado Plateau) Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 Openings: 3 positions Facility: JCAHO‑accredited health center serving a culturally rich community with deep Native American heritage Qualifications / Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience (ER RN, trauma, or critical care background preferred) Valid RN license in any U.S. state (Arizona license not required) BLS (American Heart Association) certification ACLS (American Heart Association) certification PALS (American Heart Association) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required within 1 year of hire Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – required within 1 year of hire Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required within 1 year of hire NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – must be completed within 6 months of hire Emergency Severity Index Level 5 – within 3 months of hire Patient Sitter Competency Training – upon hire Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan (adult, pediatric, neonatal) in a fast‑paced ER setting Perform a variety of emergency nursing procedures independently per physician orders and hospital protocols Provide trauma care, acute stabilization, triage, and rapid assessment using ESI and NIHSS standards Support patients and families during critical and culturally sensitive situations in a tribal health environment Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with hospital policies and JCAHO standards Participate in ongoing training, orientation sessions, and bi‑weekly competency updates Benefits Competitive weekly pay Travel nurse support 401(k) with matching, healthcare, dental, and vision coverage Equal Opportunity Statement We are an equal‑opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
