Job Summary: As a Bartender at NIkki's Restaurant and Lounge you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' dining experience by crafting and serving a variety of beverages with skill and creativity. You'll be responsible for maintaining a well-stocked bar, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall lively and welcoming atmosphere of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Mixing and Serving Drinks:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Consistently follow established recipes and presentation standards to ensure high-quality drinks.
Customer Service:
- Interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations when requested.
- Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Bar Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed.
Menu Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the restaurant's drink menu, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and servers to ensure a seamless flow of service.
Adherence to Policies:
- Abide by all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Comply with all applicable legal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
Upselling and Revenue Generation:
- Promote and upsell special offerings and promotions to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to provide a cohesive and efficient dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a busy and dynamic restaurant setting.
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
