Job Summary: As a Bartender at NIkki's Restaurant and Lounge you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' dining experience by crafting and serving a variety of beverages with skill and creativity. You'll be responsible for maintaining a well-stocked bar, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall lively and welcoming atmosphere of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

1. Mixing and Serving Drinks:

   • Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
   • Consistently follow established recipes and presentation standards to ensure high-quality drinks.

2. Customer Service:

   • Interact with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations when requested.
   • Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

3. Bar Maintenance:

   • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
   • Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed.

4. Menu Knowledge:

   • Stay informed about the restaurant's drink menu, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
   • Collaborate with the kitchen and servers to ensure a seamless flow of service.

5. Adherence to Policies:

   • Abide by all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
   • Comply with all applicable legal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.

6. Upselling and Revenue Generation:

   • Promote and upsell special offerings and promotions to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience.
   • Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.

7. Team Collaboration:

   • Work collaboratively with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to provide a cohesive and efficient dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a busy and dynamic restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
