Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Vancouver, WA working in an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Washington state PT license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic caseloads, including adolescents to geriatric patients.
• Comfort treating student athletes and approximately 10% post-stroke patients in the chronic/post-rehab phase.
• Experience using WebPT or willingness to train on WebPT EMR.
• Ability to complete 1-hour evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups, utilizing aides to supplement care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic with a large gym or pool-based programming.
• Experience working with therapy aides and managing productivity targets of roughly 12 patients per 10-hour day.
• New graduates are welcome; mentorship from tenured staff is available.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4x10s.
• Caseload primarily orthopedics with adolescent through geriatric populations; approximately 10% neurological cases post-CVA.
• Clinic features a 6,000 sq ft space with a large gym and an in-ground therapy pool (note: PTs/PTAs do not enter the water).
• Three therapy aides available to support treatment on the floor.
• Productivity expectation: approximately 12 patients per 10-hour day.
