Miami Fine-Dining Cashier — Fast-Paced, MICROS-Experienced

Prestigious fine dining restaurant is looking for experienced cashiers for their locations in Miami who can work in a fast pace environment. The Cashiers will be responsible for securing of funds for daily meal transactions; depositing funds and balancing accounts and adhering to accounting practice for monies handled. Range: $16.00-18.00 PER HOUR PLEASE NOTE: Candidates who do not have previous experience in a restaurant and with MICROS system will NOT be considered. Responsibilities Receives payments in the authorized form: cash and/or credit, traveler checks, club member accounts and debit card. Upon receiving cash, count it twice and place it in the cash drawer. For credit or debit cards, place deposit slips in the cash drawer. Immediately reports any errors (wrong amount, product type, etc.) to the Manager for authorization to void an invoice issued by the system. Accurately records date entry of the operation to avoid voiding any printed transactions, invoices, and/or receipts of sale due to data corrections or inconsistencies. Completes the daily cashier report, ensuring the day's sales match cash, credit card, and deposit slip sales, and prepares explanations if a difference is identified. Works efficiently in a fast paced environment and handles a large volume of customers and transactions accurately. Walks, stands, and performs essential functions for an extended period of time, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking. Works quickly and within limited space, reaching other locations of the property promptly. Qualifications Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Authorized to work in the United States.
