About the Role:
Perrone Landscaping Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Director of Finance to join our growing team in Holden, MA. This is a full-time, in-person leadership position where you'll play a critical role in shaping the financial future of a thriving landscaping company. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and industry financial standards
• Analyze job costing, project margins, and operational expenses to drive efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA or MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction, landscaping, or a field services industry
• Strong proficiency in financial software and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Aspire and related operational platforms)
• Proven experience with job costing, project-based accounting, and budget management
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and reporting requirements

Compensation:
 
· Perrone is prepared to offer a highly competitive compensation package for an exceptional candidate. The position includes a base salary of $130,000, with a variable performance-based incentive opportunity targeting total annual compensation of $180,000. The actual incentive compensation will be determined based on individual and organizational performance, as well as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, leadership ability, and demonstrated potential to strengthen and scale the organization.
