Waste Water Technician

Join our plant operations team as Waste Water Technician on 2nd shift

Shift: 2nd (2:00p-10:30p M-F) Weekend and weekday overtime as needed

As a technician in ECoat, you will be responsible for operations of an anodic electrocoating paint system and the industrial wastewater treatment operations for the facility. This includes but is not limited to:

• Initiating & controlling operations by PLC/HMI
• Manually utilizing switches & valves
• Maintaining system & various equipment in the department (ie. Nozzles, plumbing, pumps, etc.)
• Safely handle chemicals and make additions as necessary
• Operating and working on diaphragm pumps
• Record keeping
• Work with team members and seek continuous improvement for the department and its operations
• Cross-functional collaborations with various departments

Requirements:

• License Requirements: SC Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment D level License (Min requirement); B level licence preferred
• Technical/Mechanical aptitude
• Technical Associates Degree, preferred
• Industrial/Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be a self-starter, willing to learn & take ownership in the role
• Must be team player

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 26.40 to 44.10 per year (depending on licence level). In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
