Facilities Technician

Job Title

Support Facilities EHS compliance and safety programs across Fab8

Coordinate utility turn-on/off activities with manufacturing teams

Help develop and update operations & maintenance procedures

Troubleshoot UPW, WWT systems, and chemical handling (VMBs)

Perform maintenance on pumps, filtration systems, RO units, and chemical treatment equipment

Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments (pH, ORP, conductivity, etc.)

Maintain 6S standards in workspaces and systems

Assist with contamination investigations and quality issue resolution

Support qualification of new chemical systems, slurry lines, and process tools

Collaborate with engineering and technicians on system upgrades and projects

Contribute to training, safety procedures, and best practices

Participate in emergency response activities (as needed)

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 Year Technical Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor operations or a related discipline. OR

• Equivalent military training / experience with a minimum of 2 years relevant facilities experience. OR

• Certification from an accredited trade school with a minimum of 3 years relevant facilities experience OR

• High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years relevant facilities experience

Physical Capacity Demands:

• Able to perform shift work on a 8-10 hours per day shift schedule (Monday - Friday + 8:00 - 5:00)

• Able to work in a cleanroom environment wearing required clean room clothing per semiconductor protocol/requirements

• Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift

• Able to wear appropriate PPEs to handle chemicals (including SCBA, respirators and chemical suits)
