RN - PCU/Stepdown

Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) delivers direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at an increased risk for instability. The PCU team provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in an environment that offers advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Experience/Education/Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Preferred experience in PCU and basic EKG.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.

Shift Information:

Days (0700-1930) with every other weekend required.

Holiday Coverage:

Holiday coverage is required.

Minimum Years of Experience:

1 year of nursing experience is required.

Certifications/Requirements:

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS
• NIHSS
