We are looking for a polished, organized, and people-focused Public Relations Assistant to join our team in College Station, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, building professional relationships, coordinating projects, and contributing to a positive public image.

The Public Relations Assistant will support the development and execution of communication and public relations initiatives for Skillbridge Academy.

You will work closely with internal teams, external contacts, partners, and community stakeholders to help maintain consistent messaging, coordinate outreach efforts, prepare communications, and support events and organizational initiatives.

This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in communications, public relations, relationship management, event coordination, and professional outreach while growing within a collaborative organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of public relations and communication initiatives.
• Help maintain positive relationships with partners, organizations, community contacts, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare professional correspondence, presentations, announcements, and informational materials.
• Support the coordination of events, meetings, presentations, and outreach activities.
• Respond to general inquiries and help ensure professional and consistent communication.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and maintain accurate messaging.
• Assist with community engagement and partnership initiatives.
• Maintain contact lists, communication records, schedules, and project documentation.
• Help identify opportunities to strengthen Skillbridge Academy's visibility and professional relationships.
• Provide administrative and organizational support for public relations projects.
• Represent Skillbridge Academy professionally when communicating with external contacts.

Additional Information

• Competitive salary of $47,000–$51,000 per year
