Field Service Technician

Entry Level Field Service Technicians - $32/hr - Houston, TX Archaea Energy, a bp company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to join their Houston, Texas team. These professionals will install, commission, and repair industrial combustion and environmental equipment at various sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically and electrically skilled, able to work independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Perks & Benefits Wage: Up to $32 per hour Paid vacation (120–240 hours per year for full-time employees) Paid holidays (9 per year plus 2 personal choice holidays) Parental leave policy (up to 8 weeks’ paid leave) 401K Program Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Discretionary bonuses and recognition awards Retirement & savings plans Equity (stock and share) options (eligibility varies) What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalent Mechanical and/or electronics experience or training, or five years industrial mechanical/electrical field service experience Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Ability to work independently and in a team Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with combustion and environmental equipment and burner management systems Ability to read electrical/ladder schematics, ladder logic diagrams, P&ID’s, and mechanical drawings Familiarity with industry specifications (NEMA, NEC/NFPA, UL, etc.) Familiarity with PLC Control Systems (preferably programming/debugging) Willingness to travel extensively, including globally Ability to work in inclement weather and lift up to 75 pounds Pre-placement drug screening, medical review, and background checks may be required What Will Make You Stand Out 2 years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Preferred) 2 years of experience with Burner Management Systems (Preferred) 2 years of experience in Pollution Control (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
