TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230!

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in ICU License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Strong ICU experience Ability to titrate drips Experience with patients on vents and Bipap Description: Unit information includes a total of 10 beds. There are 4 staff members on the unit. Staffing includes a charge nurse and RNs based on census during the day shift, with a charge nurse and RNs scheduled at night according to census. No techs are available on either shift. Patient ratios are 2:1. Equipment used includes ventilators, CRRT, A-lines, Bipap, Flow-tracks, and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit involve the care of critically ill patients. Responsibilities include total patient care, turning patients, titrating drips, performing dressing changes, and trach care. The ideal candidate should possess a compassionate demeanor, work well with others, and maintain good rapport with physicians. Preferred skills include experience with CRRT and transplant cases (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver). Please note that the schedule includes rotating weekends. Staff should report at 06:45 for day shift and 18:45 for night shift. Total patient care for critically ill patients is expected.
