Grill Cook, Full-Time

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook, Full-time at Keuka College Geiser Dining Commons in Keuka Park, NY. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Weekend and evening hours required occasionally for caterings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food for service
• Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
• Manage food inventory
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion

Requirements:

• Part-time seasonal commitment and weekend availability
• Culinary experience a plus
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain positive attitude
• Must be customer-oriented, organized, and detail oriented
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and decision making ability
