Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lenoir City, TN, for a Hotel General Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Avid Hotel & Candlewood Suites. Tasks include managing staff, maintaining high service and operational standards, creating budgets, achieving financial targets, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The General Manager will oversee all departments, including front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services, while driving team performance and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• General Management and Business Management skills, including team leadership and strategic planning
• Exceptional Customer Service skills to maintain and enhance guest satisfaction
• Budgeting skills and financial acumen to achieve profitability goals
• Experience in managing Food & Beverage operations
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with IHG brand standards and property management systems is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work independently in an on-site management capacity
