• Support dental procedures by offering chairside assistance and ensuring patient comfort during treatments.
• Inform patients about effective oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and personalized treatment options.
• Keep precise and comprehensive medical records in line with HIPAA regulations and office standards.
• Utilize dental equipment, including X-ray machines for imaging, while following safety protocols.
• Adhere to stringent infection control practices using aseptic techniques to avoid cross-contamination.
• Work collaboratively with dentists and other team members to ensure smooth patient care within general dentistry.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist as per state or regional licensing authorities.
• Demonstrated experience in a dental clinic or office setting.
• In-depth knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and relevant medical terminology.
• Understanding of infection control standards, sterilization methods, and aseptic practices.
• Capability to efficiently perform chairside assisting tasks within a four-handed dentistry framework.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective patient education and the creation of a welcoming atmosphere.
