Contract | Rotating Shift | 5 x 8-Hour Days

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first assistant duties in the operating room during surgical procedures within the perioperative services department
• Provide intraoperative support including tissue handling, hemostasis, wound closure, and other surgical assistance tasks
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• RNFA certification or equivalent first assist training and experienceCurrent, hands-on Epic EMR experience required
• Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
• Each position listed in work history must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used at one employer, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided
• Must be available to start on the confirmed start date with no time-off requests (RTO not permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience supporting an Epic system conversion or implementation
• Demonstrated history of successfully completing travel or contract assignments
