Quick Facts Location: Jackson, MI Start Date: As soon as possible (Credentialing within 90 days) Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Monday – Friday, flexible schedule Hours/Week: Minimum 36 direct patient contact hours + 4 admin hours Employment Type: Full-time employed position License/Certs: BLS, DEA, Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) Experience: Prior dermatology experience preferred but not required for Board Eligible candidates Pay & Benefits Pay package: Competitive salary based on experience and training (discussed at interview) Benefits include: Health, dental, vision insurance Flexible Spending Accounts & HSA Life Insurance Retirement plans Paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays) Tuition reimbursement and CME allowance Short-term & long-term disability options Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Special employee discounts Career development opportunities Parental leave (2 weeks paid) What You’ll Do Provide outpatient dermatology services focusing primarily on medical dermatology (90%) with optional cosmetic dermatology (10%) Perform skin procedures, including skin tag removal, biopsies, and other dermatologic interventions Manage high-volume procedures, seeing approximately 4–5 patients per hour, with 3–4 procedures per hour Collaborate with a caring, professional team providing excellent patient care in a renovated clinic setting Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system Support the reopening of the dermatology practice and contribute to its growth and success What You Need Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain one Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology (must become certified within 3 years of graduation) BLS and DEA certifications 0+ years of dermatology experience preferred, but candidates within 1 year of graduation are encouraged to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment About the Assignment Henry Ford Medical Center – Cascade Ridge is a renowned outpatient facility providing comprehensive healthcare services.
