Job Description
Join our team as a Manufacturing Skill Operator, where you will be responsible for the detailed inspection, setup, and teardown of critical customer equipment in line with our quality procedures. This role operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the Manufacturing & Test Manager and collaborate with Test Technicians to perform inspection, setup, and teardown of critical customer equipment to ensure standards are met.
Perform workflow scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure equipment is properly set up, inspected, and operational.
Perform inspection, setup, and teardown to ensure the availability, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the equipment.
Assist Test Technicians on day-to-day tasks.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Be flexible with other duties as needed.
Essential Skills
High School Degree/GED or equivalent required.
Experience with torque tools, basic hand tools, and schematics.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and oral in English.
Proficiency in using basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as DVMs.
Good color vision for identifying color-coded wiring and cables.
Team player mentality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic warehouse experience.
Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
Experience in shipping and inventory management.
Work Environment
The position requires the use of a wide range of manual and pneumatic hand tools, as well as simple test equipment. You will be working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, with exposure to dust and limited fumes and odors. The role involves physical activities such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods, and occasionally handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You must be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime during the week and on Saturdays on short notice. Compliance with factory regulations and safety rules is mandatory.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
