Application Architect

Senior C/C# Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior C/C# Engineer - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ.

This role involves providing Level 3 support for a low latency trading platform. The ideal candidate will interact directly with traders, manage escalations with platform vendors, and handle application management and governance tasks. This position requires supporting trading systems in a fast-paced environment and has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for a low latency trading platform
• Interact with traders and manage escalations with the trading platform vendor
• Handle application management and governance
• Maintain trading feeds between trading platforms and surveillance/audit systems
• Review and implement enterprise security mandates
• Review application changes and perform application testing for release validation

Requirements:

• Experience with electronic trading platforms is required
• Integration protocol expertise, including debugging in production-like environments
• C, C#, and Java development knowledge
• Experience with both Unix and Windows environments
• Strong communication skills for interacting with traders
• Ability to handle stress linked to the support of trading systems

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of Futures and Bonds contracts
• Understanding of global markets

Pay range: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
