The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of nursing experience. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to punctuality and attendance. Candidates must be comfortable with potential floating between various units as needed. A pass/fail EKG exam is mandatory for all Registered Nurses regardless of specialty. This position involves caring for adult patients with a variety of diagnoses, including stroke, renal disorders, sepsis, and endocrine disorders. The unit provides a high level of cardiac surveillance and telemetry monitoring. Candidates should have experience managing cardiac drips and understanding heparin protocols. Responsibilities include the administration of blood products and non-invasive airway management. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, candidates should be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs and providing wound care.
