Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing care within a patient ratio of 1:6
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
• Care for occasional non-critical pediatric patients as needed on the unit
• Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using MedHost EMR
• Participate in census-based on-call flex as required prior to the start of a scheduled shift
• Float to other units as required per facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be eligible for and able to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements (candidates from agencies registered with the state of New Mexico only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Prior experience with MedHost EMR
