Occupational Health NP/PA (PRN)

Erlanger Health System is seeking a PRN Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support the Employee Health Clinic. The provider will deliver comprehensive occupational and employee health services to Erlanger team members, helping to promote workforce wellness, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to caring for employees across a diverse healthcare system. The provider will also participate in immunization programs, communicable disease surveillance, exposure evaluations, and wellness initiatives. Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record is required, along with adherence to all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. The Occupational Health NP/PA will serve as a resource for employees regarding injury prevention, occupational health concerns, and return-to-work recommendations.

Education: Required: For Nurse Practitioner candidates, graduation from an accredited Master's or Doctoral Nurse Practitioner program is required. For Physician Assistant candidates, graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master's degree is required. Current Tennessee licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant, as applicable, is required. National certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are also required. DEA registration is preferred, if applicable to the scope of practice. Experience: Required: Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required. Preferred: Occupational Health and/or Wellness experience preferred.
