Senior Construction Manager

The Construction Manager-Waste Water will oversee all aspects of the project including, high level project execution, site operations, sub-contractor management, design and engineering support, customer meetings (Onsite and virtual), project financials, and overall client satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience managing complex industrial, municipal utility, wastewater, energy, or process-equipment construction. The candidate will have demonstrated experience coordinating civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, and structural contractors from mobilization through construction, start up, commissioning, and project closeout. The Construction Manager is accountable for the safe, timely, financially successful and contractually compliant execution of assigned projects from construction handoff through final closeout. Job Requirements / Qualifications: 7-10 Years of progressive construction management experience. Demonstrated experience managing complex industrial, utility, wastewater, energy, and processequipment projects. Prior experience with municipal wastewater treatment facilities, water infrastructure, industrial process facilities, or similar operating environments strongly preferred. PMP Certification preferred. Experienced in scheduling and workflow software programs, like Primavera P6, Microsoft Projects, Microsoft Office, Teams, Webex, and working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu. Demonstrated ability to read Mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, plumbing drawings, civil and structural drawings, controls drawings, installation drawings, and material specification sheets. Experience managing general and specialty sub-contractors from project inception to project completion. This includes project kick off, mobilization, installation, project commissioning, and project closeout. Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal), time management skills, negotiation skills, and conflict resolution skills. Confident in presenting to clients, team members, and internal leadership. Ability to prioritize project workflow to meet contractual deadlines and milestones with minimal supervision. Demonstrated experience with cost control methods, change orders, RFI’s, submittals, procurement, quality control, and construction related documents. Capable of leading confidently, and correcting or avoiding potential schedule, budget or quality issues. The ability to make decisions, while balancing cost implications, to avoid disruptions in the work or customers’ operations. Be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and Subcontractor performance. Possess excellent organizational skills.
