Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts
Shift Timing: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Block Scheduling: Not Required
Weekend Requirement: 6 Weekend Shifts in 6-Week Period
Floating: Required Between Units
On-Call: Not Required
48 Hours Option: Approved

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, support interdisciplinary care teams, and deliver safe, effective nursing care while maintaining hospital standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients

• Monitor and assess patient conditions

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Manage patient assignments with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio

• Float between units as needed

• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR (Hardstop requirement)

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams

• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately

• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards

• Support admissions, discharges, and ongoing care coordination

Required Skills & Experience:

• Medical Surgical nursing experience required

• Epic EMR experience required (Hardstop requirement)

• First-time travelers accepted

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work in high-acuity acute care environment
