Having been around for over twenty years, our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry.Position Summary:Anistar is seeking Cable Technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.Job Responsibilities:Pulling and routing CAT5e or CAT6 cable in a new construction environmentPulling and installation of fiber optic cablesTesting fiber optic cables with Fluke/Viavi testerLabeling fiber optic and copper cablesTerminating data jacksInstalling support structures (ladder rack, fiber tray, basket tray)Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom liftsThe ideal candidate will possess the following:2+ years' experience installing cables in a data center environmentOwnership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.Must be open to working Monday-Saturday up to 72 hours per weekFamiliarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.About Us:At Anistar Technologies, we connect individuals from a variety of industries with respected companies, both nationally and internationally.
