Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist (Exempt)

Responsibilities Administer and directly apply speech/language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Evaluate, plan, direct, and treat all patients referred to speech/language pathology. Supervise students as required. Perform all job duties or tasks assigned, adhering to all regulations, procedures, and licensing board requirements. Demonstrate the ability to manage pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, handle constantly changing situations, and resolve conflict with a variety of people. Qualifications Master’s degree from an approved college or school of speech/language pathology. Current state licensure in speech pathology (as a Speech Pathologist). May work on an active temporary permit for those in a clinical fellowship, practicum, or awaiting the national examination, completing the requirement within one year. Knowledge of principles and practice of speech pathology and performance of technical skills related to speech pathology. Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and related impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
