As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role in Coatesville, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced technology and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, operational areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
- Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with visitor directions and general inquiries, and following post orders related to after-hours coverage, restricted areas, and incident reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
