Packaging Operator needs 2 years Packaging experience.
- Experience on an automated Packaging line.
- Must be in good standing with local attendance policies Additional Preferences:
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Curiosity and technical abilities/troubleshooting. Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves etc.).
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts.
- Basic computer skills, with the capability to learn in more details
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
- Knows cGMP
- Adhere to Site safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Setup and operations of equipment in packaging areas.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product.
- Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation. Attain and maintain qualification for the operation of assigned process equipment and duties in the area.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements. Proactively monitor documentation and product quality, properly documenting all activity and reporting issues to supervision.
- Setup, operate, and clear packaging line equipment and/or ancillary support equipment to meet efficiency expectations.
- Replenish packaging materials like wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, and labeling systems to include ink, glue and paper. Inspect in-process packaging to endure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material in the process. Segregate finished packaged items from machine that conform to specification and separate rejected items.
- Conduct inventory count on finished and rejected packaged items.
- Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products in accordance to standards. Monitor the packaging production line to forestall potential bottlenecks, pile-ups, jams, glue not sticking properly or labels being stamp in the wrong location
- . Place daily emphasis on meeting production standards, achieving product quality standards and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
