Position: Registered Nurse - Crisis Stabilization Unit
Location: Gainesville, FL
Salary: $101,359.44/year | Exempt

As a Registered Nurse in our Crisis Stabilization Unit, you will provide critical, compassionate care to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises. This role is essential in delivering timely assessments, coordinated treatment, and recovery-focused support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric, substance use, and medical assessments
• Provide medication management and ongoing patient care
• Utilize telehealth to support access to care when appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with Florida nursing regulations and ARNP protocols
• Promote infection control and patient safety standards
• Meet department productivity standards

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Florida RN license required
• 3-5 years of nursing experience with management responsibilities (acute care preferred)
• Strong clinical, communication, and computer skills
• Must pass pre-employment assessments (minimum 16 WPM typing and 65% general assessment score)

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Florida driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • No more than 3 moving violations/accidents in 3 years
  • No major violations in 5 years
