Role Overview Fashion Nova Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and highly observant Loss Prevention Investigator to support loss prevention, security, and asset protection efforts within our fast-paced distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and helping prevent theft, fraud, policy violations, and other activities that may result in financial or operational loss. The Loss Prevention Investigator will monitor CCTV and security systems, conduct investigations, document incidents, identify security vulnerabilities, and partner closely with Loss Prevention leadership, Operations, People & Culture, and Safety. The ideal candidate has experience in loss prevention, asset protection, security, or investigations within a high-volume distribution, warehouse, or retail environment. They demonstrate strong judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and confidentially. Key Responsibilities Conduct and support investigations involving theft, fraud, policy violations, workplace incidents, and other potential losses. Monitor and review CCTV surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity, security concerns, and potential policy violations. Review access records, incident reports, CCTV footage, and other available information to support investigations. Conduct or assist with investigative interviews and fact-finding as needed. Document investigative findings accurately and maintain organized and confidential case records. Identify patterns, trends, and security vulnerabilities that may contribute to inventory, property, or financial loss. Conduct routine security observations and inspections throughout the distribution center. Support access control procedures and help prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas. Protect company inventory, property, equipment, and other assets by identifying and escalating potential risks. Communicate incidents, investigative findings, and security concerns to Loss Prevention leadership in a timely and professional manner. Partner with Operations, People & Culture, Safety, and other departments to support investigations and security initiatives. Promote and enforce company Loss Prevention, safety, and security policies and procedures. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling investigations, employee information, and other sensitive matters. Respond appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and situations requiring Loss Prevention involvement. Work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, based on business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or a related field preferred. Two to three years of experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security, Investigations, or a related field preferred. Experience within a distribution center, warehouse, retail, or other high-volume environment strongly preferred. Experience monitoring and reviewing CCTV surveillance systems required. Experience working with multiple CCTV systems, configurations, or security platforms is highly desired. Previous experience conducting or assisting with investigative interviews is preferred. Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) certification highly preferred. Strong observational and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and accurate incident reports. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Frequently bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Ascend and descend stairs as needed while conducting security checks and investigations. Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, moving equipment, airborne particles, and moderate to high noise levels. Use CCTV systems, computers, security equipment, and other tools required to perform Loss Prevention responsibilities. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all company safety and security requirements.
