Cherry Picker Operator

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated Cherry Picker Operator for a reputable company in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves key responsibilities in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, product storage, and organizing deliveries. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and supporting a safe, organized work environment.

Pay Rate
$18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
7:00am-3:30pm or 4:30pm to 1:00am

Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays

Cherry Picker Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery, including loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Manage inventory to minimize damage and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Organize and maintain bin locations for optimal warehouse flow.
• Provide excellent customer service, oversee equipment maintenance, and support efficient truck loading for timely deliveries.
• Conduct regular checks on cherry picker equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

Cherry Picker Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of stand-up cherry picker experience; Reach Truck experience a plus.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and proactive approach.
• Professional written and verbal communication with coworkers and clients.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs frequently, move throughout the warehouse, and remain stationary as needed.
• Strong problem-solving and task prioritization skills.
• Skilled at multitasking, conveying accurate information, and delivering prompt solutions.

Job Type
Full-time, temporary to permanent.
