Company DSV - Global Transport and Logistics Job Title Supervisor Location USA - McCarran, Reno 3300 Waltham Way Suite 106 Division Solutions Time Type Full Time Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary POC regarding facility issues including awareness and training personnel in day to day operations. Ensuring vehicles, buildings, company grounds and general maintenance service is completed as needed. Tour warehouses on a regular basis to ensure buildings and equipment are safe and ready to operate. Make recommendations to senior management on programs to improve the maintenance function. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in warehouse operations and ensure the maximum useful life of the equipment. Monitor all materials handling equipment (MHE) maintenance activities, making sure that all equipment is serviced as required. This may involve outside service providers. Enforce established housekeeping policies and procedures to minimize staff injuries, lost production time, damage and contamination of product. Interact with trash hauling and salvage companies to ensure that services are provided. Operate in accordance with OSHA and other applicable standards. Track building and equipment repair and monitoring preventive maintenance programs. Develop a Maintenance Schedule to support the site. Purchase parts, supplies, and fuel necessary to perform required maintenance. Maintain a cost‑effective parts replacement program and inventory. Negotiate, follow up and enforce any maintenance contracts with outside vendors. May delegate certain functions to trained and qualified employees, as necessary. Other Duties Performs other duties as required by site management. Supervisory Responsibilities TBD Minimum Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills: Standard Other Skills: Position may require background checks and additional training and testing for DSA, CTPAT, etc. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience and/or exposure to basic maintenance skills, but not mandatory. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee must use a computer, devices and telephone equipment to perform his/her duties. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Compensation and Benefits Base pay: $70,000 Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
