HVAC Helper

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a HVAC Helper to join our team. The HVAC Helper will support the HVAC department by performing plumbing and HVAC work and assisting plumbing/HVAC mechanics with daily tasks and projects.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of all plumbing systems including but not limited to drainage, waste, vent, gas and flue piping, fixtures, faucets, tub & shower valves, and water heaters.
• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of all HVAC systems including but not limited to hydronic boilers, steam boilers, hot air furnaces, air conditioning systems, piping, controls, and ductwork.
• Keep the mechanics vehicle organized, stocked with material, and clean.
• Review and complete assigned training curriculum.
• Have hand tools as required by the company.
• Wear PPE as established by the company guidelines.
• Any other tasks as assigned by manager.

Education, Qualities & Skills Required:

• Must have a OSHA 10 or 30.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Active listener with excellent communication skills.
• Sound judgment and critical thinking.
• Professional behavior and conduct.
• Must be able to work well individually and with a team.

Compensation starts at $17 hourly with no experience. Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time position, Monday Friday 7:00 am 3:30 pm and Saturdays as needed per job.
