Job PostingMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented mid-level Maritime Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Oahu, HI. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Drafts and develops Maritime Risk Assessment Plans and safety documentation for senior review and validationMaintains detailed records of vessel safety certifications and facilitates communication between the prime contractor and insurance partnersPrepares routine reports on maritime risk metrics and safety performance for Mission PartnersDevelops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime pollution prevention and safety complianceFacilitates the coordination of vessel inspections and ensure all maritime platforms are seaworthy and properly mannedPrepares risk status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portalTakes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staffMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marine Safety, Business, or a related field3+ years of position-relevant experienceProficiency in maritime safety regulations and USCG standardsDesired Qualifications:Master's degree in a related field7+ years of position-relevant experienceExperience with international standards for vessel berthing and husbandingSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must possess active Public Trust clearancePhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeOccasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual communication which may involve delivering presentationsgroup id: RTX14564a
